Also called Umbreao truffles, these wild European truffles are known for an aroma that is less intense than their winter cousins. Subtle earthy flavors resemble oaks and chestnuts. The firm flesh presents itself in glorious marbled hues from ivory to deep gold and a beautifully textured exterior.
BEHIND THE PRODUCT: Keenly-trained dogs have replaced foraging pigs. This is because the pigs naturally devoured too many of their finds!
