What is Terrine?
Terrine, also referred to as pate en terrine, is a traditional French meal that is similar to a meatloaf. Terrine refers to the baking vessel that the dish is molded in. This duck and fig terrine combines the savory flavors of slow-roasted premium duck with the sweet and tart nature of Turkish figs to recreate the perfect traditional French cuisine.
What is Pâté?
Pâté is a paste or blend of meat such as pork, sausage, duck, or ground beef which is seasoned with spices and herbs and commonly accompanied by either a wine or brandy. Traditionally either served hot or cold, however, being chilled allows the dish to develop its best flavors over time.
